I am a 40-something jack of all trades, living in Toronto and currently serving as Digital Scholarship Librarian at York University.
My particular passions are in the areas of information policy (open access & copyright, information literacy & the digital divide, privacy & security, and equitable access to the Internet and broadband), the Canadian performing arts scene (especially theatre), queer advocacy & representation, participatory politics and, for good measure, recreational bodybuilding.
I hold Master’s degrees in digital humanities and library & information studies. I am also a professional actor (a member of both Canadian Actor’s Equity and ACTRA), and have a background in information technology and engineering.
If you’re looking for a truly-rare mix of the technical and the artistic, informed by broad experience in everything from policy governance and management to teaching and musical theatre, hit me up to see how we might help one another.
